The Artifact Café Poster was designed in Adobe Illustrator and inspired by Art Deco style and visual language. The goal of the project was to create a bold, graphic poster with strong shapes, contrast, and a timeless aesthetic.
I began the project by sketching figures and design elements by hand. The drawings were scanned and imported into Adobe Illustrator, where I used image trace and the pen tool to convert them into vector shapes. This allowed me to refine the forms, experiment with composition, and create a clean, scalable design.
Throughout the process, I focused on balance, symmetry, and simplified shapes to stay true to the Art Deco influence. Typography and color choices were selected to complement the illustration style and reinforce the overall mood of the poster.
This project highlights my ability to combine hand-drawn illustration with digital tools to create a polished, vector-based poster design.
